Choose How You Want To Learn About IRESis.com

Ellen Fite, IRES Information Facilitator

IRES offers three convenient ways to learn how to use the multitude of options available on the IRESis.com efficiently:

IRES classes are offered at local Board and Association offices as well as our new state-of-the-art training room at the IRES office in Loveland. These free classes range from introductory courses such as Getting Started with the MLS and Add/Edit Listings to more advanced classes on Mapping, Prospects and Public Records, as well as the new Support for Office Staff (SOS) course designed specifically for administrative personnel. As an added incentive, the majority of IRES classes have been approved for CE credit through the Colorado Division of Real Estate.

We encourage IRES subscribers to take a class in a neighboring community as a networking tool. View the monthly schedules and class descriptions through the Training icon under the Resources tab on IRESis.com. Choose the class or classes that are right for you and then sign up on line using the link provided. As needed, you can obtain addresses for Board locations and directions to the IRES office as well.

Can't make it to one of the classes? No problem. IRES provides Feature Presentations and on line Tutorials under the same Training icon. Learn at your own pace at a time that is convenient to you. View presentations on the IRESis Contracts System, MySite and CCM features or review complete tutorials on how to Add listings, Edit listings, Upload Images, conduct Listing Searches and more. The tutorials are easy to follow with step-by-step instructions and include detailed screen captures.

Last but not least, "Help" is available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! The Help button is conveniently located on the top toolbar of IRESis and is dynamically linked to your selected function, a real time saver. Detailed Help will be displayed and can be printed for future reference, if desired, by right clicking on the screen, then Print.

While using Help, there are a couple of options worth knowing about: The Table of Contents for Help will display if you click on "Show". Also note that a link to Technical Help is available at the top of each Help screen. Technical Help offers troubleshooting solutions for various issues IRES subscribers may encounter such as printing problems and slow response.

Another valuable resource, unrelated to MLS systems, but worth mentioning here is the CAR Technology Helpline. This free service is available to Realtors® throughout Colorado encountering hardware or software problems and questions. The toll free number is 1-866-432-3027 and you will be pleasantly surprised with their breadth of knowledge and patience to find a solution.

The many facets of IRESis.com may seem over whelming at times, but IRES has developed a variety of tools to help. Simply choose the way you learn best: In a classroom setting, through self-paced tutorials or with on line Help and you are on your way to improving your efficiency and acquiring new skills!
