COUNCIL APPROVES WAL-MART ON BARBER’S POULTRY PROPERTY

Just before the stroke of midnight on June 26 the Broomfield City Council gave approval for Wal-Mart to develop a SuperCenter on the site of Barber’s Poultry on 120th Avenue. Council’s support emphasizes its desire to promote redevelopment of its eastern entryway on the north side of 120th. The Wal-Mart approval is expected to spark development interests in the area.
