TRANSIT VILLAGE PLAN SET FOR MARCH 2007 ACTION

City officials are marching ahead with the Transit Village Plan to redevelop 160-acres north, south and west of the Pollard property at 30th and Pearl. Significant property owner and developer issues are being uncovered as the process moves toward a potential City Council approval in March 2007. As many as 2500 housing units and 5000 jobs could be added to the area.
