PUBLIC HEARING EXTENDED AS TAKODA ANNEXATION TABLED
City Council Members extended the public hearing on the proposed Takoda annexation and zoning to May 15 and tabled the item on April 17. The 32.4 acre property is located west of Colo. 42 and north of South Boulder Road. The developer is seeking Planned Community Zoned District zoning for the parcel and seeks to split development into two planning areas. 7.1 acres fronting on Colo. 42 would be commercial retail, office and residential totaling 54,000 square feet. The second district’s 22.95 acres would be residential with a proposed density of 2.18 units per acre. Traffic issues needing further consideration prompted Council action to delay final action.
