MORE UPGRADES PLANNED IN 120TH AVENUE CORRIDOR
The 120th Avenue corridor is poised for another round of upgrades. Principals of the Broomfield Plaza have submitted plans to significantly improve signage, landscaping and facades of the aging shopping center. The center is part of an area plan that controls redevelopment in the corridor. Center plans include breaking up large-scale façade(s) and creation of more pedestrian friendly facilities. Other proposed changes include having First Avenue extended through the property. The plan was approved by the Land Use Commission and will be reviewed by City Council this month.
