January 2015 Boulder Area Market Sales Statistics**

 

Year to Year Detached Home Sales

  • Detached home sales dropped 7.2 percent in January 2015 compared to January 2014; 166 units versus 179 units.

 

Month to Month Detached Home Sales

  • Detached Home sales in January 2015 slid noticeably compared to December 2014, down by 37.1 percent; 166 units versus 264 units.

 

Detached Home Inventory Trends

  • The year to year inventory of detached homes for sale in January 2015 dropped 13.5 percent compared to January 2014; 755 units versus 873 units.
  • The month to month inventory of detached homes for sale in January 2015 was virtually unchanged, growing by 5 units, or .006 percent, compared to December 2014; 755 units versus 750 units.

 

Year to Year Condominium and Townhome Sales

  • Condominium and townhomes sales grew by 20.7 percent in January 2015 compared to January 2014; 70 units versus 58 units.

 

Month to Month Condominium and Townhome Sales

  • Condominium and townhome sales tumbled 35.8 percent in January 2015 compared to December 2014; 70 units versus 109 units.

 

Condominium and Townhome Inventory Trends

  • The year to year inventory of condominiums and townhomes for sale dropped 20.8 percent in January 2015 compared to January 2014; 179 units versus 226 units.
  • The month to month inventory of condominiums and townhomes for sale in January 2015 grew by 5 units, or .029 percent compared to December 2014; 179 units versus 174 units.

 

** -Single family and condominium and townhome inventories were virtually unchanged in January 2015 month over month,  each adding 5 units compared to December 2014.

-Single family and condominium and townhome sales fell more than 35 percent month over month in January 2015 compared to December 2014, 37.1% and 35.8% respectively.
